Boston's number one and only Roller Disco. Located at The Gliderdrome, Open Every Friday night.

We have a fantastic 70ftx50ft wooden sprung Maple skate floor, the best floor for roller skating.

Roller skating games run throughout the night with full Disco.

A Fantastic roller disco for all ages with a great light show.

Brilliant value for money at only £6.00 per person and £1.50 for our skate hire.

Extra sessions run throughout the year including Halloween, Christmas and school holidays.

Skate shop now open selling all your spare parts so you can keep your skates in top condition, and of course looking good.

Private hire available for roller disco parties.

Licensed bar open serving hot and cold drinks, sweets, crisps and snacks.

Please note: We have no onsite car parking but there is plenty of alternative car parking in the area approximately 2 mins walk away.

Family skate 6pm till 7.45pm

Late skate 8pm till 10pm

Entry Rules and Safety information

Please note, people skating at this venue do so entirely at their own risk!!!
This session involves a disco, therefore it will be dark and flashing lighting will be in use. All minors must have parent

permission to take part and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please mind the steps onto the skate floor.

Photography may be in use at the session.
No unaccompanied spectators under the age of 18.
No food and drink to be taken onto the skate floor.

No chewing gum.

No skating whilst using your mobile phone.

No E cigarettes/ vapes or smoking, please use designated area in the car park

Skate hire, you are responsible for skates you hire from us until returned in good condition, and failure of this could

result in a fine.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Please skate ONE WAY ROUND at all times in an anti clockwise direction, unless otherwise instructed by staff. Please

follow the arrows on the wall.
Please follow all signage whilst at the skating rink.

Please listen to all staff and follow their instruction, they are there for your own safety.

Please report all injuries to a member of staff.
Whilst general skating, no pushing, playing tag, or sudden stopping.
No standing still/sitting on the skate floor, please keep moving.
We do not allow Heelys on our skate floor.

No coats, bags, scarves, caps to be worn or carried whilst on the skate floor.

Faster more experienced skaters please show respect to less experienced skaters, please skate at a safe and

controlled speed and give them plenty of room during busy times.
We advise no skates to be worn in the toilets.
No skates to be worn outside.
Please put all rubbish in bins provided.

No skating fast, messing about in seating areas. Be considerate to spectators and other skaters.
On the sound of the fire alarm please remain calm and follow all instructions from staff on leaving the building.

No loitering in the car parks, please leave quietly and respect our neighbours.
Rudeness to staff will not be tolerated, you will be asked to leave.

No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs to be on the skate floor, you will be asked to leave immediately.
Management reserves the right to ask anyone to leave at any time, if

you are asked to leave no refunds are given.

Our History

Our History.

Will Fletcher has been running Boston’s only roller disco for over 10 years, we started off at the Peter Paine sports Centre where we operated for many happy years until the centre was taken over by Boston college and we had to move out and close down.

Luckily we managed to come up with an arrangement with Andrew and Stephen Malkinson owners of the Gliderdrome, Boston’s original skating rink. Going back to the mid-thirties when the Gliderdrome was an open air roller rink. Skating was run at the Gliderdrome for many years. Just after the outbreak of the Second World War the building was roofed over as a security measure. And it wasn't long before time was made available at the end of skating sessions for dancing. Dancing eventually took over from skating with the Gliderdrome hosting top bands and weekly bingo sessions.

Wills Roller Disco moved into the Gliderdrome in 2019 and began to host a roller disco every Friday night bringing Skating back to where it belongs.

We are proud to be part of Boston’s original and only roller rink, The Gliderdrome.

Private Party Hire

What do I get at a party

1.5 hours or 2 hours exclusive hire.
This includes skating for up to 35 people (Additional charges for more than 35 skaters will apply)
1.5 hours £120
2 hours £140
Free skate hire (quads) included. You are welcome to use your own skates.
Food is not provided, but we are happy for you to bring your own, order a takeaway or we can open the bar/tuck shop on request.

Payments

£60 non refundable deposit to secure your time and exclusive use of the rink.
Remaining balance to be paid on day of booking.
*The non-refundable deposit secures your time and exclusive use of the rink. If cancelled 7days + before the event, your total payment will be refunded, if cancelled within 7 days of event any refunds will be at the discretion of wills roller disco.
Wills roller disco and the Gliderdrome reserve the right to cancel or move any party, if this is the case refunds will be issued.

Availability

Parties can typically be catered for on Saturday afternoons subject to availability, (the Gliderdrome shows take first priority) or any available weekday evening.
We take booking 4 weeks in advance ONLY to guarantee the Gliderdrome is available.
We also offer the rink for private hire to Home Ed groups, youth groups, guides, scouts or just a group of friends wanting to get together to have fun.
